Repair Cafe

Do you have something hanging around your house that is in need of repair? A lamp that needs rewiring, a broken toaster, or a jacket with a torn seam? Bring it to our Repair Café!

Saturday, May 18

11 am – 2 pm

Repair Coaches will be on hand to look at your item and determine if it can be fixed. If it can, watch and learn as the Repair Coach returns your item to functional use.

What Can The Repair Café Help Fix?

  • Lamps
  • Small Appliances
  • PC & Tablet Software (Sorry, no Apple products)
  • Clothing
  • Textiles
  • Stuffed Toys
  • Jewelry

There are no guarantees, but we predict many items will be returned to usable condition and saved from being thrown away or abandoned. We will have a few basic parts/supplies on hand, but if you know your item needs a specific part, please bring it along!

Repairs made on a first come, first served basis.

Why a Repair Café? Today many broken items needing just a simple repair are thrown away.  First  begun in the Netherlands, the goal of a Repair Café is to save those items from being abandoned,  teach new skills, and build enthusiasm for a more sustainable society.
