Heroin and Opioid Overdose Prevention Training

 

NYS OASAS will offer FREE heroin and opioid overdose prevention training on Thursday, January 4th at 11:30 AM.

The objectives of the training are:
1. Increase understanding and awareness of fatal overdoses related to opioids and the impact within the community.
2. Recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose.
3. Learn how to administer naloxone (aka Narcan) properly and take necessary follow-up steps .
4. Receive at no cost a naloxone kit.
