Great American Read Book Discussion Series

Victor Farmington Library will again be holding a special six-part monthly book discussion series led by Joe O’Toole. This series is a complement to PBS’s Great American Read. The PBS program lists America’s 100 best-loved novels. From this list, Joe has selected five novels each concerning a family coping with adversity. Discussion will focus on why these books resonate with readers while examining the merits and shortfalls of each.

This is a free program and space is limited. Participants are expected to attend all six sessions in the series.  Click to register or call the library at 585-924-2637.
